Important Information

Captain Rate: The price that is listed is for 6 passengers or less. Due to USCG regulations, for parties of 7 or more, there will be additional captain fees and arrangements to be made. While we are happy to help you find a captain with the right license for larger parties, USCG regulations require you to pay them directly.

Weather Policy: Reschedules due to inclement weather are up to the captain's discretion.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off Location: This boat departs from Monroe Harbor. It is possible to get picked up from another location for an additional fee. Once you complete your reservation, your concierge will reach out to go over your lake and river pick up and drop off options.

Chicago Lock System: There is a lock system that separates the Chicago River from Lake Michigan. The process involves entering the lock chamber, waiting for the water level to adjust, and then exiting once the gates open. While this process is fascinating to witness, it can take anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes depending on traffic, weather conditions, and the lock’s operational schedule. There are some other factors that can increase the wait time at the locks are boat traffic (weekends are busier than weekdays), weather conditions and mechanical delays. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey, we recommend allowing extra time. Factor in potential delays when planning your charter, especially if you have a tight schedule.

Arrival Instructions: Arrive at least 30 minutes early for your yacht charter. Make sure the card holder has signed the digital waiver and confirmed their email before arriving. You will need to present your ID, waiver, and card used to book during check-in.
